Regarding this, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan says that the paper has not been leaked and the CSIR UGC NET exam has been postponed due to logistical issues. The exam will be held again soon and its dates will be announced on the official website of NTA.
In the notice of postponement of the paper, NTA had said that the candidates are informed that the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June-2024 which was scheduled to be held from 25.06.2024 to 27.06.2024 is being postponed due to unavoidable circumstances as well as logistical issues.
There is NEET re-exam today
The Education Minister also said that the CSIR UGC NET exam has been postponed due to other reasons. Tomorrow (i.e. today, 23 June) there is also a re-test for NEET UG. This decision has been taken so that all the exams can be conducted smoothly and successfully.
The culprits will not be spared
Regarding this, he also said that whatever happened in the NEET UG exam is an institutional failure for which he takes full responsibility. Questions are being raised on the leadership of NTA and answers will also be given to these but at present the interest of the students is paramount. Any decision which is not in the interest of the students will not be taken. Along with this, whoever is involved in this will not be spared under any circumstances. A report has also been sought from the Economic Offenses Unit of Bihar Police in this regard.
NEET PG also postponed
The atmosphere prevailing at this time regarding examinations is going to disturb the students. As soon as the news of postponement of CSIR UGC NET examination to be held between 25 and 27 June came, a few hours later the news of postponement of NEET PG examination came. Obviously, in such a situation, questions will be raised on the system and the candidates will also be upset. What the matter actually is will come out in some time, but in the current environment it remains to be seen whether this becomes another embarrassment for NTA.
